Wear a shirt with a positive message. Share a positive message to classmates at lunch.
Wednesday 1/25
“Idiom Day”
Teachers dress-up as sayings. Students have a chance to guess the teacher’s idioms at lunch for a chance to win prizes.
Thursday 1/26
“Oceans of Possibilities”
Reading helps your future! Think about your future and what you’re striving to be when you grow older. Dress for success.
Friday 1/27
"SAIL AWAY WITH A GOOD BOOK"
Students and staff dress in pirate garb.
Students will be learning about the legend of Jose "Gasparilla" Gaspar throughout the week.
Media Center Activity: Story themed Pirate ship wind chasers
Celebrate Literacy Week is a state wide initiative celebrating books and literature. Schools are encouraged to promote reading and interest in literature through fun activities.
