Wear a hat to kick off the Week
Bring a book for “Caught ya Reading”: Students who have library books at lunch will get a ticket to be entered into drawings for prizes.
Tuesday 1/25
District Poetry Jam, sign up in the Media Center,
limit 10 students.
Watch the DTV Morning Show for Science Fiction Book Talk. Play trivia during lunch for a chance to win prizes!
Wednesday 1/26
IDIOM DAY
Teachers dress up as Idioms or figures of speech, and students guess what they are to win a prize
Thursday 1/27
"Out of this World"
Wear your favorite science fiction/space related shirt.
Teachers or admin will read from or talk about a favorite book on the DTV Morning Show.
Friday 1/28
WEAR RED
FOR BEING "WELL READ"
Celebrate Literacy Week is a state wide initiative celebrating books and literature. Schools are encouraged to promote reading and interest in literature through fun activities.
