Registration and enrollment

If you are zoned for Davidsen Middle School by address, your student will be automatically enrolled. If you are not zoned for Davidsen, please see the information below. 

2022-23 SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS*

Teachers will begin the year helping students to organize their work by period. All students will use a three-ring binder with divider tabs for each class. Students will assemble binders during the first full week of school beginning on August 15th. 

Davidsen will provide one 1.5" Binder for each student.

Please have the following supplies:

One 8-pack of tab dividers
One Pencil Pouch with three binder holes
​TI-30Xa Scientific Calculator

Pencils
Wide Ruled Notebook Paper

School planner ($5 at Open House) or personal planner

Other supplies to have all year: 
Glue sticks, ruler, scissors, colored pencils, pens (black, blue, and one additional color), highlighters (blue, green, yellow), hand-held pencil sharpener with cover, erasers, loose-leaf wide ruled notebook paper, graph paper, and a refillable water bottle.

*Individual teachers may request additional supplies.

Arts & Electives

Learn more about the Arts and electives available at DMS. All 6th Graders will take (Culinary open to 7th and 8th grade only) 6th Graders who would irk to enroll in dance instead of pe should contact 

UNIFORMS

Davidsen is a uniformed campus. Our uniform policy promotes equality and improves focus. We thank you for your partnership in maintaining the DMS Dress for Success Uniform Policy:

Monday-Thursday
Students are required to wear a collared polo shirt in Navy Blue, Gray, or Black on Monday through Thursday.
Davidsen logo Polos may be purchased in the 
Spirit Shop. Plain/solid Polo style shirts in grey, navy, or black may be purchased at Target, Walmart, or any department store. Visit theDMS Spirit Line for all items available. The Spirit Shop will reopen for a designated period before school begins.

Friday
Students may wear any DMS Spirit shirt from the
Spirit Shop (retired/discontinued items also welcome) on Fridays. On the First Friday of each month, students may wear College-themed tee-shirts, with top participating homerooms winning a small prize each month.

All Week
Bottoms: Solid Khaki/Tan or Black. Long pants (trousers), shorts, skirts, or leggings secured at the waist and at least fingertip length. Clothing with tears above the knee shall not be worn.
Shoes: Shoes must be worn, no slippers or skate shoes are allowed in the building.
Hats: Hats may not be worn unless required for religious observance or health reasons.

PE Uniforms will be worn during PE class and should be purchased at Open House or during the first weeks of school.

Incoming 6th Grade Bridge Camp

Incoming sixth graders are encouraged to attend this two day camp to be best prepared for the transition into middle school. Students will enjoy campus tours, meet teachers and peers, play team building activities, and learn about Davidsen Middle School. Bridge Camp attendees must have their own transportation. Register your child for Bridge Camp at the link below. Questions about Bridge Camp may be directed to Mrs. Brandi Kane

DAVIDSEN DANCE DEPARTMENT INFO FOR 6th GRADERS

Do you want to dance? The Davidsen Dance department has important information for incoming 6th Graders, as dance will not be offered to all 6th graders during the wheel. Please fill out the form below if you have a 6th grade student who is interested in Davidsen's Dance program.
